All that was left were little "gloves" on each hand and foot, and the tip of the tail. Sometimes these do not come off properly and the lizard damages its digits. In this case it all worked out perfectly. Here is a little lizard hand that was shed.
George goes to preschool every Wednesday for 4 hours. He loves it. Here he is enjoying his snack before the end of the session.
It has been annoying George to not have a backpack to take to school so this week he got one of his very own.
On Thursday night after school Max went along to Cubs with Jack.
Meanwhile George got to play with Jack's little brother Andrew.
We picked up Max at the end of Cubs. He was sweaty and seemed quite exhilarated. He wants to go every week.
We have been making improvements to the lizard's accommodations. He now has a lamp to warm himself up under.
One day we caught a ferry to Raymond Island. We didn't see any koalas this time, although this would be the likeliest place to see them locally. We saw a bit of artwork, then had pies for lunch and caught crabs, shrimp and small fish at the beach. And got very wet.
Max and George had a sleepover at Jack and Andrew's place.
George fed the cows.
We went along with Kate to see more cows later that day. This one was a milking cow who belongs to a family with a lovely young dog and 2 little boys.
Oh Nicole it is so wonderful to see how your boys are growing! It has been so long, miss you.
