Here's George enjoying a boiled egg for breakfast one day. He ran out of toast "soldiers" to dip with and was using his tongue instead.
All clean, showered, hair gelled up, and having lunch at the Farmer's Home Hotel of Lindenow. Max and George were given some Socceroos swag for the coming World Cup. Of course, we will barrack for Italy if and when the Socceroos are eliminated.
Then we went to see the Swampies play at Lindenow South, and found a frog.
George told me they washed this little frog because he was all muddy. His back was really black, which matched the mud. Soon George's shoes, socks and feet were black and muddy too.
Holly and Piama and George had some fruit salad together that Holly made. Max was at school that day but Holly and Pia's school had a day off.
George played with his cousins all day while I painted Piama's bedroom to match her gumboots. And Holly gave George one of her horse posters.
Max took invitations to school for his birthday party. We are counting down the days until he turns 8. Hopefully it is a sunny day that day.
We had several visits from my Nan in spirit form. The blue wren was her favorite bird.
Max has been working towards his first badge at Cubs. He had to obtain a local map and mark the route that he travels to go somewhere near his house. He had to list 4 modes of transport and pros and cons of each one. He had to mark on a map 4 places of interest that he would show to a visitor. And finally he gave an illustrated talk to the Cub pack on his latest trip away. Max was a little bit nervous before Cubs that night but spoke confidently in front of everybody.
